One thing I know for sure is that a great handbag can complete any outfit. So, when many stadiums and event venues implemented the clear bag policy, I was left searching for a clear handbag that was more than just something I had to carry, but one I wanted to carry. Born, raised and still living in Texas, college sports has been a big part of our family. Having kids at different colleges across the country, we have many “favorite” teams to root for each week. But it was bid day 2018 at The University of Arkansas that the idea for Gloss Game took shape. Over one thousand energetic young ladies, including my youngest daughter, were gathered in excitement to open their envelopes and receive an invitation to join a sorority on campus. And though the Greek letters they would soon wear might differ, these girls were all Razorbacks. They would all be wearing red, planning their first “game day” look, and would gather week after week to cheer on their hogs. A concept not unique to The University of Arkansas, this was happening on campuses everywhere. College students celebrating the colors, tradition, and culture of the colleges they attend with no option for a quality clear handbag that cultivated this same sense of pride.
